Airports

Three major airports serve the Washington, DC area: Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA), Dulles International (IAD), and Baltimore/Washington International (BWI). The most convenient airport to the conference location is Reagan National‚ located approximately six miles from the conference hotel. Dulles airport is located approximately 24 miles from the hotel and BWI airport is located approximately 34 miles from the hotel.

Train Travel

Amtrak

Amtrak service is available into Washington, DC via Union Station. Amtrak is a convenient option for many people who will be traveling from various points along the East Coast. To make Amtrak reservations, call (800) USA-RAIL or visit Amtrak's website.

MARC Train

MARC Train Service also is available into Washington, DC via Union Station. Service areas include Harford County, Maryland; Baltimore City; Washington, DC; Brunswick, Maryland; Frederick, Maryland and Martinsburg, West Virginia. Most MARC Train Service operates Monday through Friday only. Weekend service is available on the Penn Line only. Ground Transportation

SuperShuttle

Shuttle service is available to the hotel from the local airports. Shuttle reservations can be made by calling (800) BLUE-VAN or via the Internet at SuperShuttle external link icon (link takes you to an external site in a new browser window). Advance reservations from the airport to the hotel are not required. The SuperShuttle pick-up site is located at the Ground Transportation area of all airports. Approximate fares are as follows:

Taxi

Taxi stands are located near the baggage claims at Baltimore/Washington and Reagan International Airports. They are located at the Ground Transportation area at Dulles International Airport and at the front entrance of Union Station. Approximate fares to the hotel are as follows:

Metro

The Metro can be used to access the hotel from all three local airports by using the following directions:

From Reagan National Airport
Take the Blue Line Metro towards Largo to the Metro Center Station. Transfer to the Red Line on the upper level of the station and take the train in the direction of Shady Grove or Grosvenor-Strathmore. Take the Red Line to the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metro Station. Once you have exited the Metro via the escalators, go to the right and down the set of stairs. Turn left and proceed one block to Calvert Street. Cross the street and turn right. The hotel will be on your left. This trip will cost $3.25 during peak hours or $2.35 during off-peak hours* one way.

From Dulles International Airport
Take the Silver Line Express bus service from Dulles Airport to the Metro’s Silver Line. The bus picks up passengers at Door 4 on the arrivals level of the airport. Take the Silver Line Express bus to the Wiehle-Reston Metro where you will board the Silver Line Metro in the direction of Largo Town Center. Transfer to the Red Line on the upper level of the Metro Center Station and take the train in the direction of Shady Grove or Grosvenor. Take the Red Line to the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metro Station. Once you have exited the Metro via the escalators, go to the right and down the set of stairs. From Baltimore/Washington International Airport
Take the free shuttle from the airport to BWI Marshall Rail Station and take either the Amtrak or MARC train to Union Station. Once at Union Station, take the Red Line Metro in the direction of Grosvenor-Strathmore or Shady Grove to the Metro Center station. Transfer to the Red Line on the upper level of the station and take the train in the direction of Shady Grove or Grosvenor-Strathmore. Take the Red Line to the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metro Station. Once you have exited the Metro via the escalators, go to the right and down the set of stairs. Turn left and proceed one block to Calvert Street. Cross the street and turn right. The hotel will be on your left. This trip will cost $6 for the MARC train and $2.30 during peak hours or $1.85 during off-peak hours* for the Metro one way.
